Don Bosco Hostel aim to provide atmosphere where the hostellers can benefit maximum from the hostel. It also aims to help the hostellers to bring all their talents and aptitude to full maturity through various activities that are conducted in the hostel. It provides the hostellers an opportunity to study, to live in discipline, grow in respect to one another and lead a simple life. It aims, in the hosteller to awakens the desire to live a good and dignified moral life. It also aims to bring awareness with regard to basic human values and dignity and overall it provides ambience to grow as an integrated human being. In order to grow physically sound it provides playground, organizes various games, to grow spiritually it provides the moments of prayer and meditation.

Rules/Policies and Regulations of Don Bosco Hostel Jumaikela :

• No one is permitted to go out of Don Bosco campus without prior permission from the authorities. If a boy goes out of the hostel premises, he needs to record the details in the register of outing.
• Boys will be allowed to go home for holidays only with the Parents after having entered the details in the register of holidays.
• The boys are expected to maintain silence in the Study hall, dormitory, bathing place and in the place of prayer.
• Everybody has to be with the group for the common activities. One needs prior permission from the warden for participating in any activity other than that of the common time table.
• Parents/relatives are permitted to visit only on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. Visitors are not allowed to enter the areas reserved for the hostellers.
• Consumption or possession of alcoholic drinks, smoking, drugs, and tobacco is strictly forbidden in the hostel. Defaulters may be dismissed from the hostel with immediate effect.
• Mobiles will be allowed to use at the allotted time.
• The management is not responsible for the loss of cash, valuables or any article belonging to the resident. To ensure safety hostellers are advised to deposit money and mobile phones with the hostel in charge.
• You are not allowed to keep any electronic gadgets in the hostel without the knowledge of hostel warden.
• Illness of any kind must be reported immediately to the Hostel Warden.
• Everyone is expected to respect the authority.
• All the boys are to be punctual for the meal, prayer, games, work and other activities.
• No boy is allowed to stay in the hostel during class hours without prior permission from the hostel warden.
• Food is to be taken only in the refectory unless one is sick.
• Stealing will not be tolerated at any cost.
• No boy is allowed to leave the compound without the prior permission of the hostel warden.
• Being continuous absence for more than twenty days for no reason, the boy will be asked for readmission.
• The permission will be not given for birthday party, picnic, to play match of any sort and celebrations.
